Summer 2024
At Barbara Ellis Studio of Dance, we believe that everyone has the potential to be a dancer. Whether you want to experience the joy of dance or aspire to train at a professional level, our programs offer something for everyone. This summer 2024, we're excited to offer both recreational classes and intensives for the serious dancer. Our four-week program includes fun activities and dance classes taught by a variety of master teachers and BESD faculty. With a focus on technique, artistry and self-expression, we strive to inspire dancers of all levels to reach their full potential.
Rec Classes
Our Rec Classes are perfect for all ages, including adults, and offer a range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary, and hip hop. It's a great time to introduce your child to the art of dance, and our experienced BESD faculty make learning fun for everyone. Enroll for a four-week session and see the amazing progress and joy that comes with dance!

Afternoon Intensives
Our Afternoon Intensives are ideal for the serious-minded student looking to improve their skills and push themselves to the next level. Our classes are open to dancers ages 10 and up of intermediate and advanced levels. Intensives run from 4pm to 9pm Monday thru Thursday for 4 weeks. Technique Intensive
At Barbara Ellis Studio of Dance, we are passionate about providing students with a strong foundation in dance technique. During Week One, (June 17 - 20) Technique Intensive,a four-day intensive focused solely on improving students’ dance technique. Our instructors will focus on a variety of styles, along with strength and alignment. All with in a safe, supportive environment where students can have fun while learning.
Broadway Intensive -July 8 -11
The Contemporary Broadway and Beyond is an exciting and educational way for dancers to explore the world of Musical Theater. Our professional instructors, Tracey and Thadeus Corea will lead the class and show the dancers how to audition, including singing! Through this class, Tracey and Thadeus will help your dancer gain confidence and inspire them to be the best performer they can be.

July 15 - 18th Hip Hop
This summer, at Barbara Ellis Studio of Dance, we will offer our popular Hip Hop Intensive! This high-energy camp is the perfect way to improve your hip hop skills while having fun and making new friends. Our expert BESD faculty and special guest teachers from Hip Hop ConneXion will give you the tools you need to become the best hip hop dancer you can be. Come join the fun and take your dancing to the next level!

At Barbara Ellis Studio of Dance, we are dedicated to providing high-quality dance instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Our faculty members are passionate about dance and strive to foster a love of dance in all of our students. During our Specialty Camp, we will teach a variety of specialty classes, including Ballroom, Silks, Mental Health and Dance, and how to be a dance assistant. This 4-day camp will be nothing like we've done before. Led by our experienced faculty, and specialty coaches, students will experience a range of specialty classes and fun activities that will create memories to last a lifetime.
